Description
HUMAN is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer for its Sightline detection engineering team to design, build, and operate high-scale, low-latency backend services that score and protect web and API traffic against automated abuse. The role owns services from architecture through deployment and reliability, implements real-time detection and decisioning flows, operates cloud-native systems using Kubernetes and modern GitOps tools, and collaborates with security, data science, and product teams. Candidates need at least five years of backend experience, proficiency in Go, Java, or Scala, cloud and distributed-systems experience, and strong knowledge of APIs, networking, data systems, monitoring, and production troubleshooting.
