Lunar is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer to join its Money Core squad in Aarhus and help build and maintain the domestic payments universe and core banking systems. The role owns critical banking domains, integrates with external partners, maintains system availability and resilience, explores AI enhancements, and supports knowledge sharing. Candidates need at least four years of backend engineering experience, a background in distributed systems and event-driven architecture, and strong collaboration and communication skills; Golang and financial or trading experience are advantageous. The position requires four days in the office and includes pension, health insurance, and enhanced parental leave.
