Description
Parser is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer to design and implement end-to-end systems for its Search business. The role focuses on Java and JVM ecosystem development, test-driven and behavior-driven development, scalable software design, production support, root-cause analysis, engineering mentorship, and technology evaluation. The team uses Java, Vert.x, RxJava, Groovy, Couchbase, Kafka, Azure, and GitHub, with an automated CI/CD pipeline and Agile practices. Required qualifications include enterprise-level Java experience, Azure knowledge, OpenCode experience, Java 8+, cloud platform experience, SQL and NoSQL database proficiency, system-scaling ability, Agile familiarity, and reactive programming exposure; eCommerce or search-system experience is desirable.
