Plooto is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer to design and build scalable, cloud-native backend services for its payments and cash-flow management platform. The role focuses on .NET and Azure, event-driven distributed systems, high-throughput transaction processing, API-first services, reliability, observability, architecture decisions, and engineering leadership. Candidates need at least five years of backend engineering experience, strong C# or strongly typed language expertise, production-grade API and distributed-systems experience, cloud-native and event-streaming knowledge, automated testing, and a computer science degree or equivalent.
