Description
Polymarket is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer for its DeFi Trading team to own core improvements to its exchange systems, including the CLOB engine, low-latency APIs, high-throughput data streams, settlement-aware order state, concurrency, observability, and production incident resolution. The role requires production ownership of a high-throughput trading backend, deep Go expertise, strong concurrency and systems skills, and experience with EVM/blockchain transaction lifecycles; Rust, database, gRPC, and cloud operations experience are additional. The position offers a base salary of $250,000 to $500,000 annually plus equity and benefits.
