Description
Umain is hiring Senior Backend Engineers to build high-performance, scalable backend systems for products used by millions of users. The role involves designing cloud-native systems with Terraform across AWS, GCP, and Azure; developing data models and database architectures; implementing observability; and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with containerized deployments and scaling strategies. The default workplace is the Gothenburg office, with flexibility for remote work when appropriate. Candidates need at least five years of production backend experience, strong knowledge of Kotlin, Go, or TypeScript, and experience making technical decisions, reviewing code, and mentoring peers.
