Description
Virtuos is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable Python services, RESTful APIs, and AI-powered applications. The role owns features from design through testing, deployment, and production support; integrates LLMs and AI services; improves reliability, performance, and maintainability; and collaborates with product, frontend, AI, and infrastructure teams. It is a senior individual-contributor position requiring at least five years of backend development experience, including two years developing AI-powered applications or services, along with strong Python, FastAPI, cloud, database, testing, and communication skills.
