Wati is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer for its Enterprise team to own end-to-end backend features for a multi-tenant SaaS platform serving WhatsApp Business messaging, broadcast, automation, and analytics. The role includes technical design, cross-repo coordination, production debugging of distributed systems, and building AI-powered automation tooling. Candidates need at least five years of software engineering experience, strong backend and API development skills, experience with multi-tenant SaaS systems, and active use of AI coding agents; experience with AI agent architectures, messaging platforms, and relevant cloud or database technologies is preferred.
