Cognyte is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer to design, architect, and scale the core software foundation for its next-generation GenAI Co-Pilot and Decision Flows. The role partners with Data Science and Product teams, builds platforms that consolidate complex data, owns critical software components, and delivers high-performance, secure, and scalable solutions. Responsibilities include mentoring engineers and solving complex problems. The position requires at least six years of hands-on development experience, Java expertise, cloud-native microservices experience, distributed-systems knowledge, database experience, and experience with AI/ML engines and agentic workflows.
