The role owns and builds core discovery services, including Maps and Location surfaces and Directory search, while collaborating with UX, data science, and other cross-functional teams. It requires 6+ years of modern software development experience, expertise in Node.js and TypeScript, production backend systems, location-based systems, search systems, and relational and document database fundamentals.
