Description
LaunchDarkly is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer for its Experimentation team to design, build, and operate scalable backend services and APIs supporting experiment setup, event data ingestion, metric computation, results processing, and results presentation. The role owns the full lifecycle of backend components, contributes to architecture and technical direction, collaborates with product, design, data science, and data-platform teams, investigates production issues, improves observability and reliability, participates in on-call rotation, and mentors teammates. Candidates need at least six years of professional software engineering experience, significant production backend experience, strong Go or comparable backend-language experience, distributed-systems and data-integration expertise, cloud and infrastructure-as-code experience, and familiarity with experimentation or analytics products.
