Description
Zepz is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer for its Identity domain in a permanent hybrid role based near the London office. The engineer will build and operate high-traffic identity services supporting authentication, onboarding, KYC, account recovery, and account management for WorldRemit and Sendwave. Responsibilities include Java and Spring Boot backend development, API and event-driven system design, database work, architecture and code reviews, monitoring, production support, on-call incident response, remediation, and cross-functional collaboration. Experience with identity systems, MFA/OTP, account-takeover prevention, KYC/AML, fintech, regulated environments, and AI tools is beneficial or preferred.
