SOFICO is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer to build Java/Quarkus backend services and REST APIs that connect its Miles platform with an Agentic AI platform. The role focuses on reliable multi-step business workflows, validation, transactional behavior, error handling, recovery, and integration with Temporal and other enterprise systems. The engineer will collaborate with backend, AI, workflow, business analysis, and test automation teams and should have strong Java, REST, microservices, testing, and workflow experience; Quarkus, Temporal, distributed systems, and AI-assisted software engineering experience are advantageous.
