Description
LaunchDarkly is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer to design, build, test, and operate scalable, secure, observable, and maintainable backend services and APIs. The role may involve APIs, distributed systems, configuration and event pipelines, data services, SDK infrastructure, platform capabilities, or backend systems supporting product experiences. The engineer will own complex projects from definition through production, collaborate with product and engineering teams, influence technical direction, mentor engineers, and participate in incident response. The position requires at least seven years of production software experience, strong software fundamentals, and deep experience with a backend language such as Go, Python, or Rust.
