Konfío is hiring a full-time Senior Backend Engineer — Payments in Mexico to own the design, migration, operation, and reliability of authorization, settlement, disbursement, and reconciliation flows. The role focuses on extracting transactional domains from a monolith, improving observability and automation, ensuring idempotency and failure handling, and maintaining PCI/CNBV audit readiness. Candidates need at least six years of backend experience, including two years in production payment or financial-services systems, proficiency in Node.js/TypeScript or Python on AWS with PostgreSQL and asynchronous processing, and a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
