Description
The Senior Backend Engineer will design and implement scalable Python backend services and APIs, own API architecture and database schemas, contribute to system architecture and security, collaborate with frontend and infrastructure teams, improve CI/CD and deployment reliability, and troubleshoot production issues. The role requires senior Python development, API and distributed systems expertise, MySQL database design, security knowledge, DevOps experience, and Agile collaboration. It is based in Budapest, Hungary, with a flexible working environment including one mandatory office day and the possibility of working from home.
