Description
Scalera is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer (Python) to build and maintain Python backend services, APIs, integrations, and data pipelines for its AI-powered procurement platform. The role involves end-to-end problem ownership, production AI workflows, document parsing, supplier matching, bid scoring, database and query optimization, testing, and CI/CD. It requires at least four years of backend engineering experience with Python, strong API and database skills, and experience with FastAPI or Django in production. The position is based in Zürich with four days in-office and Fridays remote.
