SplitMetrics is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer with data engineering experience for its Platform team. The role focuses on building scalable, high-load Python systems, processing hundreds of millions of records daily, designing channel-agnostic data integrations, maintaining data quality and pipelines, improving reliability and observability, and modernizing legacy systems. The position requires at least five years of commercial Python experience, strong SQL and PostgreSQL knowledge, microservices and CI/CD experience, and hands-on ETL/ELT experience. The role is remote-first, with office hubs available in key locations.
