Scalera is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer (Python) to build and maintain Python backend services, APIs, integrations, and data pipelines for its AI-powered procurement platform. The role involves end-to-end problem ownership, production AI workflows, document parsing, supplier matching, bid scoring, database and query optimization, testing, and CI/CD. Candidates need at least four years of backend engineering experience with Python, strong API and database skills, and production experience with FastAPI or Django. The position is remote for candidates located within the European Union or European Economic Area.
