Description
TOPdesk is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer for SaaS Tooling to build and operate backend services that manage the lifecycle of customer SaaS instances across more than 10 global datacenters. The role focuses on resilient asynchronous job execution, safe retries, idempotent operations, HTTP APIs, observability, self-service automation, and incremental system evolution. It uses Python and Go, SQL databases, Linux and Windows, Azure, and AI-native development tools, and requires senior backend engineering experience, production-scale systems experience, and strong SQL and API skills. The position is hybrid and includes L2/L3 support and occasional night on-call rotations.
