Description

The Backend Engineer will support and extend a Perl-based payment gateway while designing and building high-performance Python microservices. The role involves modernizing legacy systems, integrating third-party payment APIs, improving CI/CD and AWS infrastructure, troubleshooting production issues, and mentoring engineers. It requires 5+ years of backend engineering experience, strong Python expertise, distributed-systems knowledge, API reliability expertise, cloud and containerization experience, and English proficiency. The position is onsite in Cyprus with relocation support.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 5+ years of backend engineering experience with deep Python expertise
