Description
Silverfort is hiring a Senior Backend Software Engineer for its AI Engineering team to build and own a company-wide AI platform and AI-powered identity and access protection features. The role spans infrastructure and product development, including real-time access-decision agents, background analysis agents, model and framework research, evaluation harnesses, and production reliability, latency, and cost tradeoffs. The engineer will establish architecture and technical standards for a new team and drive initiatives from 0 to 1, using primarily TypeScript and Node.js while collaborating across product and engineering. The position requires 7+ years of backend development experience, production-system ownership, strong architecture skills, SQL experience, and comfort with ambiguity and emerging technologies; AI agent, identity security, and several specific technology experiences are advantageous.
