Description

Sinch is hiring a Senior Backend Software Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable distributed backend services and APIs for high-volume, low-latency fraud detection across SMS, RCS, and WhatsApp. The role uses Java or Rust, Kafka, relational and analytical databases, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, observability tools, and event-driven architectures. It is remote, or hybrid for candidates based in São Paulo, and requires a related bachelor's degree, professional backend development experience, advanced or fluent English, and strong collaboration and software engineering practices.

Additional Information

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in fraud detection, cybersecurity, telecommunications, or messaging platforms
Large-scale streaming data experience
Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD experience
Experience with globally distributed engineering teams
Advanced or fluent professional English
