Description
Regard is hiring a Senior Backend Software Engineer for its Diagnostics team to build backend services that read patient medical charts and determine diagnoses with supporting evidence. The role owns system design, data modeling, observability, testing, performance, production support, and major project delivery while mentoring engineers and collaborating with clinicians, product, design, and other engineers. It requires a computer science degree or equivalent experience, at least six years of software development experience, proficiency in Python or Go, and experience with data-intensive applications; the role is hybrid in the New York City, San Francisco Bay Area, or Los Angeles metro areas with two office days per week.
