Nebius is hiring a Senior Backend Software Engineer for its Cloud Monetization Platform team in Amsterdam or remotely. The role involves designing abstractions for a rapidly evolving commercial platform, building reliable distributed workflows, and developing scalable backend services that handle GPU hours, storage operations, network transfers, reservations, enterprise contracts, and customer payments. Candidates need at least five years of professional software engineering experience, strong Python knowledge or willingness to learn the technology stack, and experience with distributed backend systems, microservices, distributed transactions, consistency models, and asynchronous workflows. The technology stack includes Python, gRPC, Temporal, YDB, Kafka-like messaging, Kubernetes, and more than 25 microservices.
