Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 5+ years of software engineering experience, ideally on backend or data-intensive systems
Experience building microservices with Spring Boot or Micronaut
Experience with event-driven architectures and distributed systems
Hands-on experience with high-volume relational databases or data warehouses
Experience with Apache Kafka and Kafka Streams for high-throughput data pipelines
Hands-on experience running AWS services, including monitoring and alerting
Experience with automated unit and integration testing and code quality
Experience with agentic AI coding tools such as Claude Code or Cursor
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with DevOps, GitOps, and infrastructure as code
Experience with high-performance analytical databases such as ClickHouse
Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as DataDog or Prometheus/Grafana
