Worldpay is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer – Java for its Launchpad merchant-onboarding application. The hybrid role is based in Cincinnati, Ohio, or Denver, Colorado, and involves designing and maintaining secure RESTful APIs and event-driven applications with Java and the Spring ecosystem, participating in the full software development lifecycle, collaborating on architecture and integration standards, testing with JUnit and Mockito, troubleshooting production issues, documenting technical work, mentoring teammates, and working in an Agile environment. Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, CI/CD, and AWS are bonus qualifications.
