Description
Celonis is hiring a mid- to senior-level Backend Software Engineer (Java) for its Metadata Platform DB team, which owns Postgres infrastructure and provisioning along with Java and Rust components. The role involves owning Java components, collaborating with infrastructure-as-code and downstream teams, improving reliability, performance, and security, maintaining open-source forks, and documenting evolving processes. Required qualifications include at least three years of Java application experience for mid-level or seven years for senior-level, infrastructure and Terraform experience, containerized Kubernetes development, Postgres and distributed-systems knowledge, and unit and integration testing.
