Description
The Senior Software Engineer will design, build, and operate backend platform services for Apple Services' Data Science & Analytics organization, including API design, query routing, caching, data lineage, and integration with distributed data stores. The role requires ownership of reliable, high-performance services at internet scale, collaboration with data and core engineering teams, and eventual influence on platform strategy and engineering mentorship. Required qualifications include 8+ years of backend API experience, Python or Node.js/TypeScript expertise, distributed systems experience, API and caching knowledge, experience with major data stores, Kubernetes, and observability tools.
