Lucid is hiring a Senior Battery Reliability & Validation Engineer to develop and execute battery reliability, durability, and performance validation tests for module and pack-level battery systems. The role focuses on electrical cycling, accelerated aging, degradation analysis, and support for thermal, mechanical, vibration, and environmental validation. Responsibilities include operating and maintaining battery cyclers and automated test systems, developing instrumentation and data workflows, analyzing large datasets, and collaborating with battery safety, cell engineering, design, manufacturing, and controls teams. The position requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or science field, at least three years of battery testing or reliability experience, and proficiency with Python, MATLAB, or LabVIEW. The stated base pay range is $144,000 to $198,000 USD annually, with medical, dental, and vision insurance included.
