Description
Ford is hiring a Senior Battery Validation Engineer for its Electric Vehicles, Digital and Design team to plan, coordinate, and execute battery pack validation tests covering performance, durability, and abuse; author test scripts; manage data acquisition and visualization; analyze results; and collaborate with systems, cell, prototyping, logistics, engineering, manufacturing, quality, and service teams. The role requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience, at least five years of battery testing and validation experience, knowledge of battery chemistry and safety standards, and hands-on experience with high-voltage battery system abuse testing. The position is hybrid, may require onsite work at a Ford hub, and offers visa sponsorship.
