Description
D-Wave is hiring a Senior Benchmarking Researcher for its Algorithms, Performance, and Tools team. The role leads research and development in the Hybrid Development Program, developing quantum-classical hybrid algorithms, benchmarking and characterizing quantum computing systems, reproducing and evaluating scientific literature, designing experiments, analyzing performance trends, and communicating findings. Candidates need a master’s or PhD in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience, at least four years of full-time research experience, strong Python skills, and experience with algorithm development, machine learning, Monte Carlo methods, or statistical physics. The base salary is targeted at $140,000–$170,000 CAD per year.
