Description
Egis is seeking a Senior BIM Modeler to develop and manage accurate 2D and 3D civil models focusing on utilities, drainage, roads, and surface works. The role requires advanced expertise in Civil 3D to deliver storm drainage systems, wet and dry utilities, road alignment, profile, and corridor. Key responsibilities include creating comprehensive 3D models, managing data shortcuts, coordinating with engineering teams, generating accurate documents, customizing styles, conducting clash detection, ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining model integrity, and optimizing BIM workflows. The ideal candidate will have a diploma or degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Geomatics, or a related field, along with 5-7 years of experience in civil modeling, particularly in underground utilities and road/surface design. Proficiency in various software tools like Autodesk Civil 3D, AutoCAD, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Autodesk Desktop Connector, and Bluebeam Revu is mandatory, with additional experience in advanced tools like Dynamo, InfraWorks, Navisworks Manage, Python scripting, Bentley InRoads/OpenRoads, and Autodesk Inventor being a strong asset. The role emphasizes adherence to municipal infrastructure standards, provincial guidelines, and applicable codes, contributing significantly to the successful delivery of large-scale infrastructure projects.
