Description
HDR is hiring a Senior Bridge Engineer for its Alabama/Mississippi Structures Group. The role leads and performs complex bridge and transportation structural design, analysis, planning, and project delivery for highway and railway projects, including steel plate girder, prestressed concrete, segmental and cable bridges, box culverts, and interchanges. The engineer may act as a technical specialist or project manager, supervise junior engineers, and provide technical leadership. The position requires a bachelor's degree, at least 10 years of bridge design experience, and a Professional Engineer license; a master's degree in Structural Engineering and project management experience are preferred. It can be based in Flowood, Mississippi; Birmingham, Alabama; or Mobile, Alabama.
