1X is hiring a Senior Build/Release Engineer to own and scale automated build and release infrastructure across robotics, cloud, embedded, simulation, and other software platforms. The role focuses on reliable CI/CD systems, build performance, release automation, testing, artifact management, versioning, deployment validation, developer workflows, and release governance. Candidates need at least six years of relevant professional experience, a bachelor's degree in a technical field, programming experience in Python, Go, Bash, or similar languages, and hands-on experience with CI/CD and build systems. The compensation range is $190,000–$230,000 plus equity, with medical, dental, vision, retirement, leave, and other benefits.
