1X is hiring a Senior or Staff CI/CD Platform Engineer to improve the performance, scalability, reliability, and developer experience of its CI/CD platform. The role focuses on optimizing distributed builds, caching, test execution, resource utilization, automation, observability, and release quality across robotics and cloud platforms, while partnering with software teams to reduce operational bottlenecks. Candidates need at least six years of relevant professional experience, a bachelor's degree in a technical field, programming experience in Python, Go, Bash, or similar languages, and hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and Linux development environments. The compensation range is $190,000–$230,000 plus equity, with medical, dental, vision, retirement, leave, and other benefits.
