Description

Equitable is hiring a Senior Business Systems Technical Analyst for its Wealth Management Compensation team. The role focuses on business analysis, supporting and improving administrative and compensation systems, writing and optimizing SQL queries, managing technical and cross-functional projects, and creating reports and Power BI dashboards. The position is based primarily in Syracuse, New York, with additional remote and Charlotte, North Carolina options, and can be fully remote or hybrid depending on location.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree
Required Previous Experiences: 2+ years of project management experience
Experience in business analysis within a technical or operations-focused environment
Hands-on experience with the GDC compensation system
Established SQL experience
Intermediate Power BI skills
Experience creating interim or automated solutions using Python and other coding methodologies
Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting compensation, reporting, or operational systems in a financial services or enterprise environment
Ability to bridge business needs and technical solutions across multiple systems and teams
Experience improving manual processes through automation, reporting, and workflow design
Familiarity with data governance, quality control, and production support processes
