Description
The Senior Buyer reports to the Purchasing Manager and works on-site in Antigo, Wisconsin or Wausau, Wisconsin. The role mentors buyers and buyer planners, manages domestic material and service procurement, reviews MRP data and purchase orders, maintains supplier contracts, negotiates volume contracts, sources new products and suppliers, resolves quality issues, and coordinates with stakeholders on customer, planning, scheduling, and accounting requirements. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience, at least five years of relevant purchasing and strategic procurement experience, occasional overnight and daily travel, and the ability to drive a company vehicle.
