Description
The Senior Buyer procures materials for sales-order fulfillment and manufacturing, manages inventory levels and safety stock, analyzes procurement data, processes supplier documentation, develops and qualifies suppliers, negotiates pricing and contracts, conducts supplier site visits, maintains vendor scorecards, and improves purchase-price-variance metrics. The role reports to the Director of Operations, requires occasional travel, and requires a bachelor’s degree or 11+ years of similar experience.
