Description
East Tennessee Children’s Hospital is seeking a Senior Buyer to manage healthcare supply-chain procurement for daily hospital operations. The role processes and verifies purchase orders, pricing, quantities, contracts, deliveries, backorders, returns, capital requests, product evaluations, and vendor relationships while coordinating with Supply Chain Management leadership, Shipping/Receiving, suppliers, and internal departments. The position requires substantial purchasing experience, preferably in healthcare, advanced knowledge of procurement, bidding, contracting, ERP applications such as Workday, and strong analytical, communication, organizational, and Microsoft Office skills.
