Tempton is seeking a Senior C++ / Linux Software Developer for a client in the high-tech and communications industry, based in Dresden. The role develops full-stack C++ software for marine communications products and components, designs software architectures, maintains software components, resolves technical issues, conducts code reviews, supports testing and DevOps teams, and contributes to development-process optimization. The position offers permanent employment, at least GVP/DGB-level pay, vacation and Christmas bonuses, employer-sponsored savings benefits, and the option to work from home up to two to three days per week after onboarding. Candidates need a relevant degree, several years of C++ software development experience, practical Qt knowledge, mandatory Linux knowledge, software design-pattern experience, strong analytical and conceptual skills, and fluent German and English.
