Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent) with 6+ years of experience, Master's Degree with 4+ years of experience, or Doctorate with 2+ years of experience.
Required Previous Experiences: Experience with real-time operating systems (QNX, RT Linux) in safety-critical systems.
Proficiency with multi-threaded applications.
Ability to work in agile, collaborative environments and take ownership.
Experience driving architectural reviews and advocating for long-term software quality and maintainability.
Proven ability to take ownership of tasks and proactively propose improvements to a large codebase.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in regulated industries such as medical devices, aerospace, or automotive.
Advanced degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Hands-on experience with surgical robotics or complex electromechanical systems.
Practical knowledge of linear algebra, robotics, control theory, and applied mathematics.
Understanding of CI/CD tools and build systems.
Familiarity with Rust or other modern programming languages.
Proficiency in Large Language Models (LLMs) and Machine Learning (ML) techniques.
