Metropolis is hiring a Senior Central Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to architect, scale, secure, and maintain cloud infrastructure across multiple products. The role leads infrastructure modernization, legacy integrations, disaster recovery, incident response, root-cause analysis, and technical guidance for junior and mid-level engineers. It requires a BS degree in Computer Science or a relevant technical discipline, at least five years of hands-on cloud experience, and expertise with AWS, Terraform, Atmos, Python, observability, Kubernetes, service mesh, secrets management, streaming data, databases, networking, and Linux and Windows environments. The position follows an office-first model requiring at least four days in the office and offers an anticipated base salary of $170,000 to $225,000 annually.
