Semtech is hiring a Senior Characterization Engineer in Bristol, United Kingdom, for a hybrid role with office work Monday through Thursday and Fridays remote. The position leads bench PVT characterization for advanced high-speed optical and electrical semiconductor products, develops automated test environments, analyzes complex datasets, supports process and automation development, and mentors junior engineers. Candidates need a BEng or MEng in electronic engineering or a related discipline, 5–10 years of relevant semiconductor or high-speed electronics experience, Python automation skills, and strong signal integrity and high-frequency measurement knowledge.
