LGC Biosearch Technologies is hiring a Senior Chemist II to support research and development in synthetic organic chemistry. The role focuses on completing scheduled and custom synthesis projects, optimizing procedures, improving yields and reproducibility, scaling operations, troubleshooting, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to new product development. The position requires a PhD or equivalent chemistry experience, at least 10 years of industrial experience or relevant postdoctoral experience, project management experience, batch manufacturing experience, and expertise in synthetic organic synthesis, reaction workups, purification, analytical techniques, and process improvement. The role also involves mentoring less experienced chemists and ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
