GHD is hiring a Senior Civil Engineer to lead the planning, design, and construction oversight of complex civil infrastructure projects from concept through delivery. The role includes project execution monitoring, engineering inspections, contract and subcontractor coordination, client engagement, mentoring, data analysis, and keeping current with engineering standards and technologies. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related discipline and 8–15 years of professional engineering experience, ideally with CPEng certification. The position is based in Hamilton with opportunities to contribute to projects across New Zealand, and follows a hybrid model requiring three days per week in the office.
