Description
The Senior Civil Engineer leads the planning, analysis, design, and production of complex civil engineering projects for Harris County’s Office of the County Engineer. The role covers roadway and site development, grading, hydrology and hydraulics, stormwater management, drainage, utilities, and other public infrastructure, including modeling, calculations, plans, specifications, estimates, and construction support. The position requires a Texas Professional Engineer license, a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field, seven years of progressive civil engineering experience, and a master’s degree in civil engineering or a related field; it is full-time, subject to fieldwork and emergency deployment, and offers medical, vision, and dental insurance.
