TerraFirma is hiring a Senior Civil Engineer to own civil design decisions end to end for construction projects, including site design, grading, civil drawings, stamped drawings, value engineering, and translating design intent for automated and remote-controlled equipment. The role also mentors junior engineers, coordinates with customers and civil authorities, and supports permitting and compliance. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, an active PE license, at least 8 years of civil engineering experience, and significant experience with earthwork, grading, and executed construction projects. The position requires willingness to relocate to Austin, Texas, work extended hours, and travel to job sites.
