Description
The Senior Claims Analyst independently reviews, validates, adjusts, and routes marine claims, including First Notice of Loss triage, coverage assessment, reserve setting, payment authorization, case documentation, and client communication. The role manages low-to-midvalue and complex claims, escalates high-risk matters, supports Claims Experts and Technical Accounting, provides technical guidance to junior analysts, and contributes to quality assurance, governance, data analysis, and claims transformation. Marine claims experience, claim-handling systems knowledge, strong judgment, communication, and stakeholder-management skills are required; a university or college degree and industry certification are preferred.
