Description
The Senior Claims Analyst independently reviews, validates, adjusts, and routes marine insurance claims, including hull and machinery and cargo lines, while managing a caseload of low-to-midvalue and complex claims. The role assesses coverage, sets reserves, authorizes payments within authority, maintains audit-ready files, escalates complex cases, supports Claims Experts and technical accounting, and provides guidance to junior analysts. It requires demonstrated claims-management experience, competency with claim-handling systems, strong governance and quality knowledge, and the ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
